Privacy
Last updated: August 2026
We collect only what is needed to operate the site and measure utility — not to build cross-site profiles. Cloudflare Web Analytics is configured for privacy-preserving traffic measurement (no third-party cookies for tracking). Product events such as search success/failure, claim views, map marker opens, saves, and follows are aggregated to improve answer quality and lab coverage.
What we store
- Anonymous local state (saves, follows, progress) in your browser until you create an account.
- Account data (email, preferences) only if you create an account via Better Auth.
- Editorial data: sources, evidence, claims, entities, audit logs — applied to public content, not to your browsing profile.
- Structured logs (requestId, path, duration, colo) for observability — no PII beyond hashed identifiers.
What we don’t do
- No sale of personal data.
- No cross-site tracking.
- No forced login to save or search.
