Attribution

Citable because the record is inspectable

Claims and results earn citations through stable URLs, disclosed method, source provenance, version context, and an append-only correction trail.

Methodology

Citation standard

What a citation carries

Public status is categorical. It is never represented as an unsupported truth probability or rumor score.

Stable record

A published claim uses a stable URL and preserves its wording, status, modifiers, last-review date, and revision history.

Source before summary

A citation identifies the source, canonical URL when available, capture date, evidence stance, era, and source-quality notes.

Versioned measurements

A result is cited with protocol version, platform, GameVersion, sample count, uncertainty, and limitations. Historical results are not overwritten.

Corrections

A material correction links the previous and new state, rationale, evidence IDs, and correction date back to the claim ledger.

Embeds

Read-only by design

Only canonical, public records may power embeds or generated citation cards. Cards are stored in R2 under generated/cards/ and never expose private or draft data.
